An ambitious high school student, Tracy Flick, sets her sights on winning the student body president election. Meanwhile, Jim McAllister, a social studies teacher frustrated with her relentless ambition, attempts to sabotage her campaign by encouraging a less popular student to run. As the election unfolds, personal ethics clash with professional duties, leading to unexpected twists and testing the resolve and integrity of everyone involved.
