Paralyzed by polio, journalist and poet Mark O'Brien embarks on a personal journey to explore intimacy. Inspired by a writing assignment on sexuality and disability, Mark seeks to experience sex for the first time. After scaring off a caregiver, he enlists the help of sex surrogate Cheryl Green to guide him through this transformative experience.
